Collections Department Historical Sketch The McNeese State
University Foundation was incorporated in 1965 as a
voluntary, non-profit organization of business and
professional leaders to establish scholarships for McNeese
students. The Foundation is comprised of a network of
alumni, friends and businesses, who through their donations
of time, talent and financial gifts, provide opportunities
for excellence in teaching, research and scholarly pursuits
for faculty and students at McNeese State University. Scope and Content Note The collection contains the minutes of the Board of Directors quarterly and annual meetings from the first meeting on June 10, 1965 to the present. The collection also contains minutes from the Athletic Foundation Board Meetings from October 8, 2002 to the present.
