Doland Athletic Complex

McNeese built the Field House and Athletic Complex in 1964 which includes all athletic buildings, fields, and the ticket office. Presently, the complex consists of the Cowboy Football Stadium, Cowboy Baseball Diamond, and the Track & Field Complex.  In 1992, McNeese named the field house and ticket office in honor of Dr. Jack V. Doland, a McNeese coach, athletic director, and president (1970-1987). In addition, the Sports Medicine Center was included in 2000 in dedication to Dowell "Doc" Fontenot. The entrance to the complex and ticket office is off Common Street, just past McNeese Street. The Alumni Center sits on the north corner of the site, and student housing for married couples is also located near the complex facing McNeese Street.
