Burton Business Center

McNeese built the Business & Economic Center for Southwest Louisiana in 1984, designed by Dunn & Quinn Architects.  In 1988, McNeese renamed the building in honor of William T. and Ethel L. Burton.  The "BBC" houses the College of Business and the McNeese Administration offices, including the offices of the President and Provost.  In 1998, McNeese created the Adams Distance Learning Center in the BBC in honor of John Arthur Adams, a former Director of Continuing Education. The BBC sits just north of the quad and on Lawton Drive.
