Kirkman Hall

On Beauregard Drive, Kirkman Hall sits next to Drew Hall.  Kirkman Hall was built in 1969 and named for Dr. William Kirkman, a pioneer Calcasieu Parish physician, state senator, and first president of Lake Charles Board of Health. It was built to house the Departments of chemistry, physics, and mathematics within the College of Science when Frasch Hall became too crowded. In addition to faculty offices and classrooms, Kirkman also houses science computer laboratories.
