Stream Memorial Alumni Center The Stream Memorial Alumni Center opened in 1977 and was named for William Gray Stream, a student of McNeese. His mother, Matilda Gray Stream, gave $100,000 toward the construction of the alumni center. Architect C. Gayle Zembower and contractor Archie S. Hebert constructed the building. Today, the center is used for a variety of functions such as banquets, receptions, reunions, fundraisers, and many other special events. The Alumni Center is located on the corner of Common and McNeese Streets, and shares space with the Athletic Complex. The McNeese Alumni Association homepage.
